Welcome Cub/Boy Scouts working on Gardening Badges - May 1

Welcome Boy and Cub Scouts to University of Maryland's
Montgomery County, Grow It Eat It Program!

On May 1st we will be offering programs for:
Boy Scout working on their Gardening or Plant Science Merit Badges.
Webelo's working on their Into the Woods Elective Adventure
Wolf's working on their Grow Something Elective Adventure

Programs will be held at the Agricultural History Farm Park, 18400 Muncaster Rd. Derwood, MD 20855

Boy Scout Programs:
The Gardening Merit Badge program will include information needed to complete the badge.  Attend the event and learn how to grow your garden.  We will be offering water gardening, compost, or hydroponic gardening options.  Please see registration for more information.

Gardening Merit Badge Program with the Hydroponic, Compost, or Water Garden Option Register

The Plant Science Merit Badge program will include information needed to complete the badge.  Attend the event and learn how to grow your garden.  We will be offering Horticulture - Home Gardening or Horticulture Fruit, Berry, and Nut Crop options.

Cub Scout Programs:
In the Wolf - Grow Something Elective Adventure program scouts complete most of the badge requirements and will take home plants to care for in order to complete the badge.

In the Webelo - Into the Woods Elective Adventure program scouts will complete the badge requirements.
