Unit Websites wanted! We want to help you advertise your units!

posted Jan 10, 2017, 6:25 PM by Lynn Hamilton

Seneca District will post the links to individual unit websites so long as an email is sent to the Webmaster and/or the District Chair confirming that the unit agrees to abide by the BSA Unit Website Guidelines.

In the email, include: Unit type and number, unit webmaster, url to the website, and the city where the unit is located.

We will post them on the NCAC site (click the link to see who’s already active!) and also on the Seneca District website on the Membership page.  We have 5 units in the list and we’d like to have 100% coverage of all units with Websites!

Cross posting the NCAC site and our District webpage to your site would aid your units in finding information about Council and District activities.

Lastly, as noted in the Capital Comments that came out today:
"Be Prepared!" for Online Member Registration!

NCAC has applied to start using online registration for new members! This highly requested feature will make it much easier for new families to join your unit. To get your unit ready to use the system, start by updating your unit's pin at If you need help, contact your Unit Commissioner

You’ll want to make sure your information is current so that new scouts can find you directly.
Yours in District Scouting,
