One Gold Coin–Una moneda de oro: September 9-18

My name is Steve Wolf and my son is in Troop 264 in the White Oak District.  I am also the Communications and Community Outreach Manager for InterAct Story Theatre Education Association and I am happy to offer a 25% discount on tickets for Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts and their parents as well as some talk back options for troops.

One Gold Coin–Una moneda de oro is the name of our fall production and I am very excited about this production.  It is a play for kids and families in English and Spanish about the power and kindness of giving.  Shows will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 9-18.

I am attaching a flyer with more detail about our show.  The show is best for ages 4 and up and will satisfy the adventure requirement for Tigers in theatre, but can also be an opportunity for older Boy Scouts as well. Scouts can come to observe how a team of professionals puts together a production, discover how we can make scenery out of items that can be easily found at a hardware store or students learning Spanish or English can come to see how much vocabulary they can pick up.  They can observe how we all work as a team to engage our audience and encourage participation.  We are offering a Q & A session after our afternoon  performances for groups of 5 or more and for a group of 10 or more we will come to a troop meeting to work on badge requirements or general information.  I am available to be reached anytime via this email or my cell number 301-467-6133.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization based in Silver Spring, Maryland promoting learning and growth through the arts by producing interactive theatre for kids and families and educational programs in schools promoting literacy through theatre.
