This training is for new Den Chiefs AND their respective Den Leaders.

8:30 AM - 3:30 PM,
LDS Church
1325 Scotts Run Rd, McLean, VA

Do you have Boy Scouts in your troop interested in serving as a Den Chief?  Would you like to find out more about using a Den Chief in your pack or den?  Den Chief Training will take place on Saturday, March 19, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, at the Scotts Run LDS Church, 1325 Scotts Run Road, McLean, VA.  The course (C31) instructs Scouts on the Den Chief position and the necessary skills to lead and befriend Cub Scouts.  The course motivates through fun, learning skills, playing games and activities that help scouts understand their role in the weekly den meetings.  Some Scouts who become Den Chiefs were never Cub Scouts and this course helps them understand that program.

The fee is $20.  Materials given out include the Den Chief Handbook, extensive handout materials, the "Trained" strip, and lunch.
