Dear Seneca District Leadership and Unit Leadership,

It has been an honor and a blessing to work with each of you in the last 2 ½ years. I was extremely lucky to work with such great volunteers and create long lasting friendship. Starting May 1st I will be working for the Cascade Pacific Council Boy Scout of America in Portland, Oregon. This opportunity from the Cascade Pacific Council will help me to further my career with the Boy Scouts of America and broaden my work experience within the Boy Scouts of America organization. Ben Litten will be the lead District Executive for Seneca District and any emails that you send to me please make sure that he is copied. Ben is a great resource to the Seneca District and I know he will be able to do great work with all of your support. To Gordon Henley and Gene Schaerr thank you both for taking on roles of District Commissioner and Chairman, and without both of your help and support Seneca wouldn’t have done as well as it did this past year.

There are many other volunteers that I would like to thank that helped out on both the district and unit level but if I were to do that I would need at least 3 to 4 pages. Each of you have done great work for the Boy Scouts of America and helping countless young men and women to become the leaders that we need to advance our community. I pray that each of you stay in this great program and continue to bless us with your knowledge and support. You the volunteers are the backbone of our district and champions to the kids that we service in the National Capital Area Council. Thank you all for you love and support. Also if you know of anyone in the Portland area that might be a good volunteer, please let me know.

Yours in Scouting and Your Friend,
Jonathan Malloy
