Climbing Wall Training!

posted Apr 26, 2016, 11:28 AM by Seneca Admin
Kentlands Day is Saturday May 7th and we need another person to be trained on the NCAC Climbing Wall.  This is a big opportunity to impress the public with Boy Scouts and our District!

We need at least one person willing to be trained this weekend and willing to drive the climbing wall to Kentlands Day from Camp Snyder and back.

Location and Food for the training

The training will be on Friday, April 29 and/or Saturday April 30 at the Patriot District Spring Camporee.

- Training will be held at the Patriot District Spring Camporee, at the Rappahannock River Campground LLC, Address: 33017 River Mill Rd, Richardsville, Virginia 22736).  This is about two hours from Germantown, near Fredericksburg.

- Personnel just coming on Saturday Only for the Climbing Wall Training can come for free – The Patriot District  will even provide a free lunch.

- Personnel wishing to come down on Friday Night (as I am doing) and spend the night (camp) need to register at the camporee with Joe Casey (jmccasey@verizon.net ; (703) 455-9050)  The cost is $20.  Food starting with Friday dinner is $5.  There is an additional charge of $7 for anyone staying for Saturday dinner.  The $7 is for a "Grill-out" sponsored by Troop 1131 and you need to make reservations with Phil Sternberg and provide the Troop a check.  You can register and pay there.
