Saturday April 16, 2016  Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival

The Japan-America Society of Washington DC will once again be hosting the annual Cherry Blossom Festival ("Sakura Matsuri") to celebrate Japanese culture, music, and food.  The activities will take place on Pennsylvania Avenue near the Federal Triangle metro stop.

Scout and Venturer volunteers are sought to hand out programs and guide foot traffic.  Volunteers get into the Festival without cost once their shift is done.  This is especially well suited for older Scouts and Venturers who enjoy the Japanese anime characters and culture.

Registration will be open soon on the NCAC International Committee. For further information contact Stanley Kwok, International Committee Cherry Blossom Festival Chair  stankwok@gmail.com.
